I have a substancial waste heat source and would like to generate as
much power as possible with it. Temp difference is substantial as
well. Who sells large sterlings?

I don't know who's the biggest outright, but you may want to give STM Power a ring. Their standard engine is ~55kW, which really isn't too bad. They were also the ones who supplied GM with the Stirling engine for their Stirling hybrid car. More Info)-->

STM Power has shelved their Heat Power Unit HPU. Unfortunately. They did require a high side temp of 1400 deg F to operate the Beta units that were built. Most waste heat is not of this quality. If you have waste heat of 1400 deg F or higheer and of significant quantities, I have some solutions. Contact me at (802)496 2955 ext 7269 Mike

ReGen Power Systems, formerly Stirling Advantage, has designed a 1 MW low temperature Stirling to convert low pressure steam to power at 13% efficiency. It acts as a steam condenser, extracting the latent heat for use in the engine. This technology can also be used for industrial waste heat of medium quality at efficiency of 20%. We continue to seek development capital and have no commercial units available.

Dear Dick, I am involving in a solar project that intends to use solar with striling engine. Project is located in Asia area... I wondering if there are off shelf engines available for purchase, any regulation for exporting...

Thanks, leon
