I'm sorry, I gave a wrong picture due my limited english. I ment to say that "forget heat pumps".
But if theres absolutely free "not-so-low" temperature difference to use, then it might be usable with Stirling if the power need is few watts...

Response to Power Generation
<t>Heating Stirling with heat pump doesen't work, heat pump draws more energy than Stirling can produce, but there are these LTD (Low Temperature Difference) stirlings that can use lower temperature differences. Unfortenately they are big and unefficient, but if the energy is FREE like sunshine or g...

Thanks!
It seems like the rulon J would be the most suitable material? I keep on searching.

Response to Hot water powered Stirling for power generation
<t>Hello Andreas.<br/> <br/> I'm not a pro (yet), but in my opinion it would make much more sense to heat Stirling directly with fire and circulate the cooling water of the engine to heat your house. When the temperature difference gets small, the engines gets big and unefficient, when the temperatu...

Car engine slow starting solution?
<t>Greeting from Finland.<br/> <br/> Stirlings start slowly, and that's one of the reasons why they don't <br/> manufacture cars with stirlings. I think that it would be more than <br/> easy to install a RF remote starter to the burner that comes with the <br/> keys (like the door opening RF gadget ...
