Thanks for furnishing a potential source for biomass Stirling engines.
Do you have any firm pricing on the engines made by Stirling DK?

Response to Kender Solar Engine
Since the Kender engine is NOT a Stirling engine it is NOT an appropriate subject or topic for discussion in these forums.

gamma ltd engine displacer cylinder pressure
<t>The pressure in the entire LTD Gamma Stirling engine is nearly atmospheric. The displacer and piston are linked together so that neither one can 'free fall.' The engine must be almost leak tight except for a very small amount of leakage at the packing gland and/or around the piston in the cylinde...

With regard to Infinia Corp. be sure to read the fine print, e.g. under "About, -Accomplishments." Such units actually manufactured and sold are to the armed forces and not for sale otherwise.

<t>Do NOT under any circumstances apply any oil to any part of a Model Stirling engine. It will create more friction and drag than the engine can over come. A model Stirling engine must be absolutely air tight except for a 'tiny' bit of leakage at the packing gland. <br/> <br/> With the inside vente...

Displacer Gland Material - Sneft's LTD Stirling

He provides comprehensive information on how-to's, what to use, and why in most cases. <br/> <br/> Any LTD engine must have minimum friction and be completely air tight EXCEPT for a tiny bit of "breathing" at the displac...

Response to Silicon carbide for hot side components?
CORRECTION, The previous answer should read as follows:
I have never hear of it being used in any Stirling engines. It is very hard to work with and would in my judgment NOT be a suitable replacement for the materials currently in use.
