<t>In my opinion, a Stirling engine can be made self-starting by using 2 sets of pistons or piston/displacer combinations, placed under 90 degrees, using either a common cranq shaft or e.g. a chain to connect the shafts. Provided that the fly wheel has enough momentum this should always be self-star...
