I'm looking for a low cost Stirling stove fan.

As simple as possible and possible to make from pressed metal if it is a design or as cheap as possible if it is a commercial product.

The use is for removing temperature stratification in Mongolian gers (yurts).

Any advice gratefully received.

So you want it to perform the role of a ceiling fan - to move hot air from the top of the yurt down to the level of the occupants? I imagine the yurt's stove has something like an exposed firebox which could have the Stirling engine's heat exchanger placed onto it? It must be doable! There were certainly 19th century Stirling engine powered mechanical fans which were for blowing air horizontally for cooling. Might it not be simpler to get hold of a Stirling engine with an attached electricity generator and then use it to power an electric fan - that way you can have the fan any distance and orientation from the stove (and may be power some other stuff too)?
