I was wondering if any one had a list of good books on Stirling
engines. I am an ME student so tech books would be great.
Thermodynamics books would be great too.
Thanks David Tomlinson

You will definitely want to order a copy of Around the World by Stirling Engine. It is an excellent intro to Stirling engines and also has an over view of some fun things that are out there in the world of Stirling engines. It covers everything from Stirling powered luxury submarines, to a Stirling powered rotisserie barbecue grill.

The Regenerator and the Stirling Engine by Allan J. Organ is a good book on the thermodynamics of Stirling engines. Order it from the Mechanical Engineering Press. You may also want to read, "Air Engines, the History Science and Reality of the Perfect Engine" by Finkelstein and Organ.

Enjoy!
