besides the pressure(air) leakage and friction what are the problem
that contribute to the engine's failure?
let us do some list here:-
1)heavy flywheel
2)less heat input

what makes Stirling engine not working?
1. Flywheel must be just heavy enough to carry the engine through its complete cycle but not so heavy as to drag and slow the movement.
2. Heat input from a small alcohol flame no bigger than the flame of a small candle should be adequate.
3. Engine should run freely by hand when closed volume is open to atmosphere and turn over with a slight resistance by hand when closed.
