Could you make a Stirling engine into a little fan?

At night time i like to have a fan running on my window seal. And i
was wondering if it was possible to make one a fan.I know that you
could take the flywheel off and put fan blades on it. but would it
run at night on a window seal.
Note: im new to this and if you would have any good websites i would
be interested

A couple of challenges for your 'fan' idea ... first the heat source and second the power to run a fan at a successful rate to make it worth the energy. One of the downsides to using it in a traditional 'hot' configuration would be the added heat rising to the fan blade. You might consider sitting a fan on an insulated pile of ice and if sized appropriately might move air??? BUT this just not one of the more logical choices for a model Stirling. You might be interested in looking at the model that runs off the heat of your computer monitor???

There are several URL's showing Stirling powered circulating fans. There is at leasst one being sold commercially for use in fishing cabins. Sits on the heating/cooking stove and circulates the warm air near the stove to heat the cabin.
Run a web search engine; for Stirling engines, Stirling fans, and look for the Stirling web ring on yahoo for lots of ideas and information.
