I've been expermenting with Stirling engines without disscplaccer
pistons just with power piston only.Specilally designed displaccer
without a piston Lamin flow
There is no timing and they run the direction you start it Re clock
wise or counter clock wise.
I've designned and built single cylinder and a three cylinder radial
engine. They are an old idea only different in design with metals we
can now work with. The single cylinder similiar in dispacement to the
Stirling fan will turn the same size fan at simliar speed without a
displaccer piston. Less moving parts, no timing. it's something l'm
having fun with.
Is anyone working on this l would like to hear from you.

Search for "laminar flow hot air engine," Laminar Stirling" and similar terms and variations. Use both "Dogpile" and "Google" search engines as they tend to give very different results.
