Power question

Post by dishheaven »

can a Stirling engine be powered by a geothermal method?
I live in Canada where the winters can see temps as low as -40C.
An average temperature is around -15 to -20C. 3 feet below the
ground there is a constant temperature of about +6C. How much power
could be expected at this difference? What gas should one expect to
use in this situation.(and at what pressure?)
Should the pressure of your cooled gas be around that at which it
would condense?
