My name is John Gannon. I have a business in Australia which
specializes in Kerosene Lamps ,Stoves,Heaters, and Refrigeration. We
have a range of spare parts from all over the world plus I
manufacture some of the replacement parts myself in my engineer work
shop and also have a large restoration service I just received two
KYKO FANS made in England to restore, one with aluminium cylinders
and one with an iron cylinders. My question is what sort of
lubrication oil do I used. It came with about half a cup of oil
slough in the botton of the hot cylinder. This is the first time I
have had the opportunity to work on hot air engines, although some
time ago I built A 5hp Steam engine and boiler which I used in 20ft
launch. Check out my website www.oillamps.com.au
