I have a point source of almost 1000F over an .079 cm2, over 6 – 7
hours a day.
Theoretically, what would the max possible electric power produced
(watt/hour) using a Stirling engine?

Point Source Heat Supply
The 1000 deg.F would be adequate, but the area is far too small for any effective heat transfer to power a Stirling engine. Even the small demonstration engines have two orders of magnitude more cm2 for transferring heat into the engine.
Response to Power Output
I beleive I could increase the area but probably lose some of the temp. One of the test results yeilded 524F over 3cm2. So, does this imply that there is an optimal temp to Area ratio, if so what is it and what would the output be.
