Hello,
I am looking for some resources on electrically driven Stirling heat
pumps. Is it possible to simply reverse drive a Stirling engine using
an electric motor and reject heat at the hot end? Or would you need to
change the heat exchanger configuration to be able to do that? I have
seen a few studies where the Stirling engine drives a heat pump but
this would be a different configuration. I am also wondering how large
of a temperature differential is achievable for such application.

Stirling Heat Pump
Stirling engines are not used in place of conventional heat pumps. They are used however as cryocoolers in reaching very low temperature in the processing of liquid gasses.
