Ok...after going over ALL of these posts, I did not see one mention
of the little Bohm Stirling engines.....These small 1 or 2
cylinder "toys" run at up to 2500 rpm and have the coolest linkages,

Yes, they are small....but seem incredibly fast, smooth running, and
efficient compared to many slow clunkers I've seen out there. Why
can't these designs be scaled up to run a generator? Why no posts on
the coolest little engines out there???
