You are just one of thousands of potential customers for such a Stirling engine.

Unfortunately NO ONE has yet come up with a working practical design for such a machine. Many have tried without success.

There are source for such engines now:

One production engine has a Carnot of 58%!!! They got 21% fuel-electricity efficiency in a DOD project for soldier-portal power, replacing 30lb or field batteries with less than 10.

I am looking for a test engine to use in some early prototyping of my patent. I think the lab unit from this site would work mostly, but I need to talk to some one about some modifications and some power specs.

You mention a "production engine" with a Carnot efficiency of 58%. Can you provide the specifics as to manufacturer and web site?
Same for the DOD portable power pack.
Will you provide your Patent Number?

American Stirling Company sells books and model Stirling engines. There is no Research and Development Laboratory department or shop facility.
