I am developing a 3-5 kw solar generator for the home and off grid
energy production. Have most of the pieces for the finished product.
Still looking for a workable Stirling that won't put the cost out of
reach

To my knowledge there are no off-the-shelf Stirling engines currently available on today's market. is a reseasrch organization and has built custom engines at a price. Several companies are building CHP Stirling powered units but are not yet in mass production.
One company in Arizona projected building a 275 W solar powered Stirling driven generatory with solar tracking array for $275. At last report the project shifted to using high temperature solid state power panels due to cost projection condiserations.

I’m very interested in your project, please tell mi if you have a successful unit to sell, I’m sure I could sell a couple of thousand units in my country if the price per watt is less than US $3. This would really be a life saver; people in developed countries can’t imagine the toll the electricity problem has on the economy and life of the people in general.

A Solar or bio-waste powered Stirling engine driving a 3-5 Kw generator is the Dream Machine or Holy Grail solution to the energy problems of most of the world. IF the cost per unit can be brought downward......

Gas fueled CHP: Stirling micro-CHP packages are targeted to cost $2,500/kW (thermal + electric) compared to $1,200/kW or less for combustion turbine and IC CHP packages.

I'm looking also for a Stirling engine to applicate to a thermic solar implant. A collaboration
could be usefull. The product would be a panacea to the fast growing energy cost. Thanks for
paying attention.

You are not alone, there are a lot of folks looking for a Stirling engine that will suit their power needs.

An A/C refrigeration compressors is not readily adaptable for the purpose.

Geothermal powersystems have nothing to do with Stirling engines. Geothermal energy heat sources are used for a number of applications.
