Has anyone made a speaker driven piston?
I'm not talking about the systems that create acuostic standing waves
and all that. I'm just wondering if anyone has had success with like
using a long throw woofer to drive the linear Stirling power and/or
displacer pistons. Sometime like the 2000 watt long throw from Swiss
Audio for $199 at ebay:
http://www.swissaudioinc.com/woofers/spw.html ?
If yes then can some give a link to a speaker Stirling where the
speaker is the linear alternator to take off electrical power?
Right now I'm just exploring many different Stirling designs trying to
see a very easy to build version with good power, good efficiency and
low maintenance.
