Could the Stirling engine use the heat of a automobile engine to
generate electricity enough to replace the alternator. Or could the
Stirling engine be used as a pump to replace the power steering
pump. Or Could a Stirling engin be used as a compressor for the air
conditioner.

Response to Possible application
This is essentially a waste heat application question. For a better understanding of the issues involved it is suggested that you read all of the posts and replies on both the Power Producing and Waste Heat forums.
Basically the temperatures involved and the air flow are incapable of running any current Stirling to produce the neccessary output power for the applications suggested.
