i want a clarification from you. what is the difference between the
Stirling engine & ic engine. the advantages and applications of
Stirling engine give the details

The Stirling engine is a closed system, filled with air, hydrogen, helium, or some other gaseous medium. It may be pressurized or operate at atmospheric pressure. Heat is introduced through the displacer cylinder wall by conduction, heating the internal gas by convection.

The IC emgine is an open system. Air is taken in through a valve along with a combustible vapor and compressed and ignited to produce a high temperature and pressure to drive the piston.

Much more heat energy can be introduced into the IC engine than a Stirling and more useful work energy realized
