Neat way to make a piston

Now, I tried this once but I didn't do it correctly, but apparently it
works. One way to make a tight fitting piston in a cylinder is to get
some JB weld, mix it up, take the cylinder that you are going to use
for the power piston, put a light coat of oil on in the inside of it
and pour the JB weld in. Let it set for the full 24 hours that is
recommended for full hardness, and then when it is dry, pop out the
piston with a hammer and punch. If it won't fit in the cylinder you
can sand it down with some fine grain sand paper and voila! a working
piston.
I read this somewhere about 2 years ago, and am currently without
means to machine a piston, so I am going to try it...I'll let you know
if it works.
