What is swept volume?

I dont really understand some of the technical terms associated with
Stirling engines like 'swept volume'. i also dont really understand
some of the calculations for the efficiency and power output of
Stirling engines...

Swept volume is the volume or space that a piston moves through on one full stroke or movement. Look for "swept volume" with one or more search engines on the WWW. For example:

Read fine print carefully as a conversion factor for conversion of inches to centimeters is used, 12.98704, is number of cc in one cubic inch.
